PostSubject: LaShea Maynard   The Characters of Cluex EmptySun Jun 17, 2012 12:35 pm

LaShea Maynard; Witch; 14-15; Female

House Request:
Ravenclaw

Year:
4th or 5th

Bloodline:
Halfblood

Magical Strength:
Divination

Magical Weakness:
Transfiguration

Biography:
Madeline Maynard was your average small-town girl who spent her summers as a cashier at the local grocery store. Her life was rather plain until a tall, mysterious man with brilliant blue eyes came through her line. He didn't have anything with him, all he wanted was an answer to a simple question: "Which way to Bakers Street?" She told him the directions and watched him as he walked away in mismatched clothing. Without a second thought, she went to the next person in line and was beginning to ask how their day was when a loud pop echoed throughout the store. Gasping, she looked up in the direction that the noise had come from, surprised it had come from where the mysterious man had been standing before, but then vanished. Her eyes scanned the parking lot through the windows and not a sign of him was found. "Strange..." she whispered, as she went back to her job.

The man had been on her mind for days, though she continuously told herself to forget about him. He was a stranger that she would never see before. Oh how wrong she was. It was only a week after they met in the store when she saw him again, sitting on curb of the sidewalk. Madeline tried to ignore him, but he turned around and saw her, a small lighting up his face. "I knew I would see you here," he said. He knew? Hah. She just laughed it off and introduced herself to him as he did to her. "Jericho Harland," he told her. And that was that. They began dating and after a few months, Jericho proposed. He told her that he knew they were perfect for each other. Without much hesitation, she accepted and in only a year, a beautiful baby girl was born.

After LaShae's birth, strange things began to happen around the small house. Toys would disappear for days at a time, only to be discovered on the ceiling fan or on the roof. Madeline even walked outside to see a tiny toy shovel working by itself, digging holes in the yard. Ghosts were the first thing that came to Madeline's mind as she ran to tell her husband of the strange thing she had just witnessed. He only chuckled when she told him the news, before getting serious and telling her just exactly what he was, a wizard. She was more accepting then he thought she would be, and they were happy after that, until one fateful day.

LaShea had been acting strange the day after her 4th birthday. She refused to leave her father's side for one second. Even he began to act strange, always looking over his shoulder as if something was about to grab him out of no where. He left for work as usual, managing an old shop in Diagon Alley. Around 8 o'clock that night, LaShea began to cry and scream for no reason. No matter what Madeline did, nothing would comfort her. It was only moments later when a loud pop was heard outside and a knock was on the door. Jericho was dead. The wizards that delivered the news refused to give any more details.

That was the day when magic left the Maynard house. In grief, Madeline refused everything that was magical, even scolding LaShea when she accidently used magic because it reminded her so much of the love she had lost. When LaShea was eleven and recieved her Hogwarts letter, Madeline was forced to accept the truth. Her husband had been a wizard. Her daughter was a witch. This was something she had to accept.

Personality:
LaShea is very quiet and reserved. Most people, including her mother, do not realize that she had seen her father's death on the night he died, and her seeing it has affected her greatly. She is easy to anger, though after losing her temper, she immediately regrets and and hopes to make things better. She is very honest with other people when they ask her something, and is very loyal to her friends. However, she does not make friends easily, preferring to be alone with her thoughts and notebooks.

Appearance:
LaShea looks more like her father than her mother. She has long dark hair that flows to her mid-back, sparks of red can be seen in the daylight. She also has his brilliant blue eyes that change to a gray-green color when her mood shifts. Her body is tall and lean and her skin, like her mothers, is more of an olive tone. She never colors her nails, and the only make-up she wears is mascara.

Seeing her enthusiasm, he allowed her to accompany him on an excavation. It was a small excavation, but it got Shadi involved and she developed the love for hunting for history. PostSubject: Leifur Maeveen   The Characters of Cluex EmptySun Jun 17, 2012 12:55 pm

Leifur Maeveen; Vampire; 35 (Looks 40-50); Male

The Characters of Cluex 3--jpg%20(418x718)

Hair Color/Style:
Black hair, that is already turning grey around his ears. Leifur has thick sideburns and is balding slightly, as you can see in the photo.

Eye Color:
Very Dark Brown. In the right lighting, they appear completely black.

Skin:
Pale, almost like ash. It looks as if it has no life. In fact, it looks completely dead. Deep wrinkles have appeared on Leifur's face, particularly around the eyes and mouth.

Other:
The Characters of Cluex 1eJgg
This double-sided axe has been passed through his family for generations. The inscription along the blades reads: "Danger and delight grow on one stalk". Leifur keeps this axe strapped to his back, the blades covered so it does not injure him when he's walking.

Personality:
Leifur is rather, complicated, for a vampire. His mood can change from being calm and serene, to being extremely angry and defensive in a matter of seconds. He was never one to laugh at jokes or smile, even. His face always bears the expression of being bored or uninterested. Leifur is serious about what he does and if he gets to know people, he is often protective of them. He is opinionated and refuses to be 'walked all over'. The vampire is also honest. He doesn't care if he hurts your feelings. He only cares about honesty.

Additional Information:
He carries a sack around his back. This sack has various blades, though they are mainly short daggers. He does not use these blades for fighting, but for hunting. He also keeps different herbs, such as lavender and sage. In a sense, he feels these items ward off "bad spirits". While he is not superstitious, his mother always warned him to keep those herbs with him. They actually help him stay calm.

Sitsi Sitala; Died at 19. Is 172; Demon; Female

The Characters of Cluex Kw5lg

Appearance:
Sitsi is full-blooded Cherokee Indian. Before she died, her hair was black as pitch and ended at her waist. Her eyes were a dark brown that had hints of green around the pupils. Her skin is a deep olive tone and is very smooth. After she died, her hair turned a deep-red color and her eyes turned completely black.

When she is angered, her eyes turn bright orange and her features become everything but beautiful. Her face becomes long and bony, as does her entire body. A pair of red wings that resemble a bat's sprouts from her back, and her fingernails grow to about four inches in length.

Sin/Virtue:
Wrath

Biography:
She was born on May 30th, 1838, four days after the Cherokee Nation was forced upon the Trail of Tears. Her mother died during the birth, leaving Sitsi's father to care for her through the journey. He gave her the name Sitsi Sitala that means 'Daughter of good memory', hoping she would never forget the wrong done against her and her people. From an early age, her father taught her things that he should have taught a son, but because he didn't know the ways of a woman, he spent his time with her hunting and making crafts. Sitsi enjoyed this time with her father until it came to an abrupt end.

At the age of fifteen, a group of white men came to her father's village. They began to start trouble and in the process, killed her father and many of the adults with their guns. Upon seeing Sitsi watching them, they abducted her. The men beat her and abused her sexually due to her race. She always fought back with force, but the men were stronger than her and she could never get them away from her. When she turned 19, Sitsi had had enough. When the oldest of the men came to her on her birthday, she stabbed him to death. Upon seeing the death of his brother, the youngest man attacked her. This only brought death for him to come sooner. Like his brother, he was stabbed and she ran away from the house.

Sitsi had been in hiding for a little over a month when she realized something was wrong. She was pregnant. She believed she would be able to handle the birth and the child, but 8 months later, she was proven wrong. In January of 1857, she died during labor, like her mother.

Because she had committed murder, the Cherokee woman was not allowed into Heaven. Instead her troubled soul was sent to hell and forced to receive punishment for the crimes she had committed. Seeing the hatred Sitsi contained in her soul, the Devil decided to give her a second chance at redeeming herself and taking revenge on the entire human population. Losing her first name, she remained Sitala. Yet,the Devil gave her a new name, as well. She would be known as Wrath.

Weapons:
She carries an eight ft. length whip that causes deep incisions and burns upon whoever is hit with it. When she becomes angered, she can also fight with her hands since her nails are very long and sharp.

Personality:
Sitala is always thinking about a way to get revenge. Her eyes are void of all emotion and she never smiles. She hates all men and doesn't trust anyone. Though she would like to know what love feels like, she knows she will never find out and Sitala accepts this. She doesn't want or need anyone else, as they are only a hindrance. She is very headstrong and stubborn. She refuses to back down and will always have the final word. She is easily angered by the smallest of things and is usually blinded by the anger she feels.

Zadkiel; Died at 34. Is 374; Virtue; Male

Appearance:

Before death, Zadkiel had medium length black hair that he always wore tied back and out of his face. His bright blue eyes were framed by thick, dark eyebrows and though he were handsome, this trait made him appear wolf-like. His square jaw was accompanied by a dark beard that met his sideburns and opened up at his mouth to give him a moustache. His skin was dark due to his enjoyment of nature and horseback riding. Zadkiel's style was due to his status or nobility, in which he wore a dark suit, and tall hat. When he went to ride his horses, he would always his clothes into some ratty, old shirts and pants.

After death, Zadkiel's black hair changed to a light gray, including his beard. Yet, his hair grew quickly once he entered Heaven's Gates to his mid-back. While he tries to keep his beard neatly groomed, he enjoys the length of his hair. His eyes turned a deeper blue and he no longer appears like a wolf. Accompanying his change in hair, large grey wings have sprouted from his shoulder blades. These wings resemble the owl's and they go far out of Zadkiel's wing-span.

Sin/Virtue:
Charity

Biography:
In December of 1636, Zadkiel was born into a noble-families household. His family was well loved by most in France, even with their status. When he was young, Zadkiel recieved the best in education and what he learned, he would teach the peasant children. He started this at a very early age and when he got older and lived on his own, adults and children alike were welcome into his home so they could learn how to read and write, free of charge. His younger sister meant the world to him and she was always with him. They would go fishing together, ride horses, and even sing. When his little sister came down with Tuberculosis, however, Zadkiel was grief-stricken. On her death bed, he swore to her that he would never forget her memory and that what he ever he did, he done for her. After her death, he felt that she was beside him always and he made promise to the oath he had said to her.

Any time one of his horse's gave birth, he would give one of the babies to a peasant child to ride and care for. He had a stable built to house's these horses and the children were free to come care of them and ride them as they please. Zadkiel never gave up on teaching the children and even though he never married, he never felt happier than he did when he was teaching or giving.

In the spring of 1670, while teaching someone to ride a horse, a dog came out of the woods. The horse was spooked and knowing that she might buck, he turned in his saddle to grab the child behind him, so he wouldn't fall. Of course this didn't work as well as he had planned and it was Zadkiel that fell from the horse when she bucked. His head landed upon a sharp rock, killing him instantly. Once at the gates of Heaven, the Lord welcomed him with open arms. After proving himself as a Guardian Angel, God named him Charity.

Weapons:
He carries a long sword that burns a bright blue flame. Instead of burning, it freezes the wound and causes the wounded to be completely numb where they were hit.

Other:
Though he is a solid form, he appears to always have mist coming from his body and giving him the appearance that he is floating, when in reality he is not.

Personality:
Love is in his heart. No matter how someone treats him, he tries to see the best in them. He easily forgives those who have wronged him, but he never forgets. His kindness knows no bounds, however and this came be a vice. Even with the demons, he may show mercy and during a battle, this is not a good thing. There is no darkness in his soul and he is always trying to help others. Due to this, he was once chosen to be a guardian angel. That is, until he was made a Virtue.
