Welcome to the first issue of The Daily Prophet.

First and foremost, I want to thank you all for what I would like to call a success. I didn't expect as many members as this on just the third day and I hope that the site only continues to grow. To encourage this, if you recruit anyone to the site, your house will get an extra 50HP. The Sorting Hat has been edited to where the person can tell me who referred them to the site, and I will be keeping an eye on that! It can be anyone, really. Plus, I know you all want the extra House Points!

As the site continues to grow, I will require more help. I don't know if you all realize this, but being Headmistress is a lot of work. I am constantly going back and forth through pages and adding points and forums and the like. So, soon I will be needing extra help! That will be where the 'Head of Houses' and Prefects come in. There will be more of that and applications in the coming days, so be keeping an eye out!

If you have any suggestions about the forum, please post them in the Problems/Suggestions forum. It would be a big help to me as I want to make the site as well as I can.
