We carry the finest selection of hazy herbs, purple herbs, skunk weed, magical mushrooms, dried vines, plant extracts, essential oils and mandragora for all your herbology and potion-crafting needs. However, tread carefully, for the matron of the shop - Madam Griever - is a bit on the eccentric side. Whatever arcane herbs you're looking for, you can find here. For a price.

Quote :
Herbology is the study of magical and mundane plants and fungi. In Herbology, students learn to care for and utilize plants, and learn about their magical properties, and what they are used for. Many plants provide ingredients for potions and medicine, while others have magical effects of their own right.

Menu:
(New shipments arrive every Tuesday.)

Dogwoods: genus of around forty species of mostly deciduous woody plants growing as shrubs and trees. They are known to grow quite well in frigid climates and because of their tolerance to cold, they are used in many types of Freezing Potions.

Deathcaps: poisonous fungus that can be lethal if ingested. Their oily extract is known to cause severe digestive distress and induce extreme diarrhea/vomiting in victims. Deathcaps are sold as either Dried Caps & Stems or diluted "Oil of Deathcap."

Amanita Muscaria/Toadstool: A mushroom easily identified by its bright red cap and white spots. Commonly known as a "Toadstool." These iconic mushrooms are well known in Muggle books such as Alice in Wonderland. Its long-term effects are mostly unknown and unstudied, but short term use of Toadstools is said to broaden the mind, open the senses and flood the brain with a plethora of colors, sounds and textures.

Hogsweed: A local sticky and hairy shrub native to Hogsmeade and the mountainous region surrounding Hogswarts. The weed, when dried or steam-distilled, causes a heightened sense of relaxation, sociability and hunger. It is known to lessen anxiety, nausea and calm the senses.

Mandrake: Commonly known as Mandragora. A perennial plant which has a thick root that looks like a human (like a baby when the plant is young, but maturing as the plant grows). The root of this plant is often used to brew the Mandrake Restorative Draught, which brings petrified victims back to normal.
